Belsazar Vermouth's unique production techniques combine historical knowledge and craftsmanship, with the high quality requirements of the best kitchens and bars around the world.

Built on the German origin of Vermouth, Belsazar is exclusively handcrafted in South Baden at the edge of the Black Forest. Wines from selected vineyards in the regions of Kaiserstuhl and Markgräfler Land are blended along with wormwood and regionally grown herbs, spices, peels & blossoms. All of which are then rested in impermeable stone casks.

The fruity and flowery taste touches mirabelle, apricot, chamomile and fresh yeast; finishing with bitter aromatics through an explosion of bitter orange, gentian, coriander, wormwood and cinchona bark.

Warm tones of vanilla, candied orange and bitter chocolate are released and enriched with traces of mace, cinnamon and cloves. The comforting sweetness is perfected by a hint of dark caramel, traces of matured cherries and spices. This is what creates the typical Vermouth, slightly tart finish.
